SoulCalibur IV includes the most robust custom character creation tool in series history. The game’s only been out for four days, and already the internet is flooded with twisted player creations, and not all of them have giant fake cocks.
The character creation tool in SoulCalibur VI is ridiculously feature rich. Players can choose between modifying one of the game’s packaged characters, downloading and tweaking other player’s creations or starting from scratch. There are 16 player races to choose from, including a race that’s just humans with rabbit ears.
While I settled for a basic human with rabbit ears (I have a type), other players dove deep into the tool’s options. They adjust height, change skin color and textures and put together elaborate outfits. And should clothes not be enough to make the man, woman and/or monster of their dreams, there’s always custom stickers and shapes.

Why, with just a moment’s tweaking of the game’s heart shape, I gave this poor woman an ass head. Imagine what a more dedicated customizer could do. Or don’t, because I’ve compiled some of my favorites here.

One of the biggest running themes I’ve seen browsing the internet or flipping through the in-game character share feature is twisted versions of stars from different videos games. Take Pikachu here. Take him and run far, far away.

This version of Pikachu is nothing more than a beefy yellow man with a pair of cones sticking out of his head. Which, of course, is exactly what Pikachu always looks like. And look, here’s the perfect competitor for him:

It’s like a Smash Bros. reunion up in here. Let’s keep it going. Here’s a lovely, not at all nightmare-inducing Sonic from Vagabond Melody on Twitter. Using Tira as a base gives our favorite hedgehog one of his signature golden rings to play with. Also, nipples.

What about everyone’s favorite fan-created character, sexy Bowser?Captaintaco2345 on YouTube not only made Bowsette, he created Booette as well, and made them battle each other.
Pretty sexy, right? Well, just wait, there’s more. You haven’t seen sexy until you’ve seen Venom made using Ivy’s animations, courtesy of IvyAyeVee on Twitter. It’s okay to drool. Venom is used to it.

Want to make Venom go away? Schiltrus on Reddit made a very nice Thanos, complete with finger-snapping finisher.

Speaking of Reddit, there is an entire subreddit dedicated to SoulCalibur player creations. It’s called r/SoulCaliburCreations, and it is chock full of amazing work, like the shapely Marge Simpson from LFreeze.

It’s amazing what players can dash together by tweaking skin colors, dress styles and accessories. And when the custom shapes come into play, watch out. Specifically, watch out for dicks. Here’s an example, courtesy of Hjenx on YouTube. Thanks so much, Hjenx.
The effect is created using a variety of shapes. A cylinder for the shaft, a heart for the testicles and, I believe, an apple for the tip. These monstrosities are all over the place, and I’m not sure how Bandai Namco could possibly go about removing them.

So SoulCalibur VI’s custom character collection might have more than a few dicks. It’s also got a ton of amazing creations from talented players around the globe. Share your favorites (or most frightening) in the comments below.
Soul Calibur 6 has received wide praise since its release, but that isn’t to say that gamers’ experiences have been free of troubles. Players have complained that online play is being overrun with troll characters, and now, it appears Bandai Namco is planning to take action.
On the official Soul Calibur 6 website, Bandai Namco posted a notice revealing that players who “create inappropriate custom characters online” will risk having the ability to access online functionality revoked. However, Bandai Namco didn’t provide any details on what the company considers to be “inappropriate characters.” It’s not quite clear if this solely includes characters that have used props to imitate explicit material, or if the trolling fighters players have been encountering will also be struck down.
The problem players are facing is due largely in part to Soul Calibur 6‘s robust character creation system. Players can choose from a wide variety of equipment, weapons, and props when building a character from scratch, allowing for impressive custom characters. However, these same items can be used in unintended ways, like a massive prop covering the entire body of a fighter, rendering their opponent unable to see when they’re guarding or preparing a strike.

If Bandai Namco is only targeting players that are creating explicit material to use online, the ban may not quite satisfy fighting game fans. Since the release of the game, players have been bombarded by troll characters in ranked mode, making it difficult to maintain a winning streak. As a result, many gamers have been asking for custom characters to be banned from ranked mode entirely, as those fights leave a lasting mark on a player’s records.
Although gamers may be pleased that Bandai Namco is looking into it, it remains to be seen how it will play out. If Bandai Namco is tracking ‘inappropriate characters’ solely based upon players’ reports, it may take a while to actually crack down on explicit character creations. However, with the release of Nier Automata‘s 2B on the horizon and a full season’s worth of content to follow, it makes sense for the company to try and tackle this problem as soon as possible.
Soul Calibur 6 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Soul Calibur 6 players have had a lot of fun playing around with the game's remarkably in-depth Create-A-Soul character creator. They've already made countless impressive lookalikes ranging from Nier: Automata's 2B to Thanos and - of course - Bowsette. The trouble is, these custom characters have now invaded Soul Calibur 6's ranked online mode, and according to some top-level players, they're ruining the experience.
In a video (above) posted earlier this week, competitive fighting game player and Soul Calibur champion AvoidingThePuddle criticized the decision to allow custom characters in ranked mode. For starters, dubious players can use some items in the character creator to obscure their fighter, making it more difficult for opponents to react to their moves. However, according to AvoidingThePuddle and many other players - like YouTuber Steedoj - the main problem is how custom characters differ from the characters they're based on.
'Customized characters in this game are a false representation of the character that they are portraying,' AvoidingThePuddle said. 'I've heard many top-level players complain about this. If you create a character that's using, let's say, Yoshimitsu's move list, your created character is giving you a false sense of Yoshimitsu. You will be able to do things that Yoshimitsu cannot do. You'll be able to escape combos that work on Yoshimitsu. And you will be able to reach further, or higher, or lower than Yoshimitsu because your character is not the same shape or size as Yoshimitsu. This is, like, a disaster.'
Reddit user Wazaaaaa posted a useful clip (below) showing how custom characters may differ from genuine characters - in this case, Ivy. Due to hitbox discrepancies between the two, this custom character is able to escape from a combo which would normally stunlock Ivy.
Many players have argued that character inconsistencies like these disrupt competitive play and undermine the spirit of ranked mode. As such, many have called for Bandai Namco to ban custom characters from ranked mode in Soul Calibur 6, or at least lock their hitboxes to ensure a consistent experience. I've reached out to Bandai for more information and will update this story if I receive a reply.
Here's every character on the Soul Calibur 6 roster.
Modder ‘Sakura4’ has released the first proper nude mod for SoulCalibur 6. While an earlier mod allowed players to create custom naked characters, it did not have any affect on the original cast. However, this nude mod can be used for both custom and original characters, and there are currently separate versions for male and female characters.
According to the modder, this mod will allow you to play as a nude character that will be only visible to yourself. This basically means that other players when playing online will not see your character naked. However, and as we’ve always stated regarding mods in online games, we strongly suggest disabling it and using it only in offline mode.
As always, we won’t allow any links to the direct pages. However, it’s really easy finding it. All you have to do is enable the NSFW option from your NexusMods control panel (you need to be logged in) and head over to the mod section page of Soul Calibur 6.
Now I can already imagine the comments this article will have but take a close look at the header image (which is the official costume for Ivy in SoulCalibur 6). It’s obvious that Bandai Namco has deliberately designed most of the female characters in this way so a nude mod was bound to happen. As for us reporting on such a thing… well… at least it’s not another Denuvo article, right? Right?

Stickied post
Hey guys, your friendly neighborhood minesweep0r here!
The last few months have been an interesting time for this sub, with some balance changes and the addition of Amy Sorel to the cast. That being said, we of the moderation team have had to implement some new rules recently in an attempt to keep this sub happy and healthy and kicking ass.
Here are those new rules:
9.) No Loli/Pedophilia images or discussion.
This one should be self-explanatory. We all know Amy is a bit greener than some of the other bananas in the bunch, and since her announcement this kind of discussion has been pretty rampant in the sub. This is not the place for it.
10.) No wall-of-text/rants about why you hate a certain character/mechanic/feature. If you want to start a discussion, keep it civil and articulate. This includes shit-posts and obvious baits.
We all enjoy a good character breakdown/discussion. What we don't enjoy is a rant about how 'only n00bz play character' or 'mechanic is busted, don't change my mind'.
11.) No witch-hunting. Discussing situations of harassment/stalking to inform the community is tolerated, as long as the details are kept to a minimum. This is a gray-area and will be moderated based on our best judgment.
Due to recent events, this one had to happen too. As a sub, we don't want to stifle people who feel truly harassed and we won't tolerate mental abuse. At the same time, we can't be a hotbed for back-and-forth doxing, so this rule will be enforced with as much objectivity and fairness as we can muster. Soul Calibur 6 Search Custom Characters
That's all for now, keep it real folks.
